Mathematics:
The Mathematics department believes in purposeful teaching that will discipline the student so that he/she can discipline him/herself. We aim to provide all students with at least the basic computational skills and knowledge used in daily adult life and in the business and professional world. At the same time, we present advanced students with the aspects of beauty inherent in the subject and to provide those desiring specialization in mathematics and science in college with the more specific college entrance requirements and prerequisites demanded for college programs.
