Father Nuzzi will speak on a Catholic approach to leadership based on the Catholic tradition, including the Scriptures, the life of Jesus, and the example of the saints. In January 2004, Fr. Nuzzi was among a select group of educational leaders to be invited to the White House for a special celebration of Catholic education with President Bush. In April 2004, he opened a session of Congress, saying the opening prayer in the U.S. House of Representatives before meeting with a variety of House and Senate committees on educational policy. He has received the C. Albert Koob, OPraem, Merit Award from the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) for extraordinary contributions to Catholic education in the United States as well as the Ohio College Admissions Officers’ Association Award, and the Catholic Press Award.
