Homecoming 2018 T-Shirts

The Boylan Homecoming T-Shirt can be purchased through Smart Tuition.

The deadline to purchase is Wednesday, September 12.

$15 – (Short Sleeve) sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL

$20 – (Long Sleeve) sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL

Picture Day

Yearbook photos for Freshman, Sophomore and Junior students will be taken on Wednesday, August 29.

All Freshman, Sophomore and Junior students have received a picture order form from their English teacher. Forms may also be downloaded here. Forms must be filled out and sent to school with your child, along with payment, on August 29. Forms and payment may also be submitted online.

Students must wear Boylan uniforms when having yearbook photos taken. Ties are required for boys. Sport coats are optional. Sweaters are optional for girls.

Student Purchases

The following purchases can be made through Smart Tuition.

Parking Passes

All students who park in the student parking lot are required to purchase a parking pass for the 2018/2019 school year. Passes for the 2018/2019 school year are $60.

P.E. Uniforms

Any student participating in physical education classes must wear the designated Boylan P.E. uniform. Uniform t-shirts are $15 and shorts are $20.

Yearbook

2019 yearbooks are $70.

Student Section T-shirts

T-shirts are $20 each. Three styles are available. The deadline to purchase is August 31.

Want to take advantage of those back-to-school sales?

Teachers will communicate specific class supply needs on the first day of school, but here’s a general list to get you started: blue/black ink pens, pencils, loose leaf paper, folders or binders, and highlighters.

These basic supplies should get students off to a good start for the school year.

Boylan Catholic High School Names Marketing Coordinator

BridgetJennisonHeadshotBoylan Catholic High School today announced the appointment of Bridget Jennison (’03) as marketing coordinator. Jennison will lead communications, public relations, brand and marketing efforts for Boylan and will report to President Amy Ott.

“Bridget has the ideal mix of strategic thinking and the ability to execute that this position requires,” said Ott. “She’s committed to Boylan’s mission and we’re excited that she’ll be bringing her years of communications experience to help strengthen our brand and support the school’s enrollment and advancement efforts.”

Jennison has nearly 10 years of experience in marketing and public relations. Before joining Boylan she spent seven years at Chicago-based PR firm, Public Communications Inc. where she led integrated communications campaigns for clients across the healthcare, technology, nonprofit and cultural sectors. Prior to that she served as the marketing coordinator for the Downtown Highland Park Alliance, a public-private partnership between the City of Highland Park, the chamber of commerce and the downtown property owners.

“I’m thrilled to join the Boylan staff,” said Jennison. “As an alumna I already share a deep connection to the Boylan community and I have a vested interest in the success of the school. I’m honored to devote my years of experience in communications to a mission I feel so passionate about.”

Jennison holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Marquette University. She serves on the board of the Rockford Network of Professional Women.

Second Semester Exam Schedule:

Information:

 

  • Students need not be in the building unless they are taking an exam. Those who desire to remain in the building must be in Study Hall when the bell rings. Designated study hall locations are listed below with the exam schedule.

  • If a student is late, he/she reports to the Dean of Students’ Office for an admit before being admitted to the classroom.

  • Students are not to be in the corridors or bathrooms during exams. They are not to leave the classroom before the bell rings. There should be no talking in classrooms.

  • A failure/refusal to take a semester exam results in a failure for the semester.

  • Students must be in regular school uniform as described in the handbook.
