Boylan Catholic High School Principal Vince McGuire will present two checks in the amount of $5000 each to St. James Cornucopia Food Pantry and to St. Bernadette Parish for their St. Vincent dePaul dinner program.
The presentation will take place on Tuesday, October 24 at 11:30 am in Boylan’s main foyer. On hand will be Fr. Kenneth Stachyra, St. Bernadette Parish Pastor; Randy and Theresa Roberts, coordinators of the St. Vincent dePaul Dinner Program; Fr. Over 2600 walkers in Boylan’s first annual Spirit Walk raised a grand total of $201,150. The intent of the Spirit Walk was to highlight Boylan’s mission to be of service to others. Consequently, $156,866.41 will go to assist families with meeting tuition through the school’s Student Aid Fund and $10,000 will assist the parish outreach programs. $5000 will be presented to a third parish outreach program at a later date.

The 2006-2007 Boylan Players will present The Crucible, a historical drama by Arthur Miller set in Salem, Massachusetts in 1692. The play, which runs on Friday and Saturday, November 17 and 18 at 7:30 pm and on Sunday, November 19 at 2:00 pm, illustrates a dogmatic society’s mistrust of nonconformity, and the resulting injustices.
All reserved seats are $8. Tickets are available in the school’s Main Office (877-0531) through November 17 or at the Box Office prior to each performance.
All performances will be in the Boylan auditorium. There will be a reception for the Saturday audience, cast, and crew in the cafeteria. Boylan High School is handicapped accessible.
