Boylan Catholic High School has received a $500 grant from the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program to support the school’s Community Outreach Program. Elmwood Mobil of Rockford, worked with Boylan’s administration to secure the grant, which is one of 4,000 available to schools across the country served by Exxon or Mobil stations. This is the third consecutive year that the school has been awarded this grant from ExxonMobil.

The ExxonMobil Educational Alliance program is designed to provide Exxon and Mobil retailers with an opportunity to invest in the future of their communities through educational grants to neighborhood schools. This grant was made possible by funding from the ExxonMobil Corporation.

Congratulations to the members of the Boylan football team who for the second year in a row reached the State quarter finals. The Titans were outscored  by the Lake Zurich Bears.

As quoted in the Rockford Register Star, “We gave it all we had,” said quarterback Jacob Simonovich, who passed for 142 yards. “We left it all on the field, which is how we want to end it. We’re always going to have memories from this game, some good, some bad.”

We couldn’t have said it better.

Congratulations to following Lady Titan swimmers who will be representing Boylan at the State swimming competition.

Taylor Mollin will be competing in the 200 and 500 freestyle and as a member of the 400 freestyle relay team.

Rachel Bohn will compete in the 100 freestyle.

Grace Cormier, Susan Goebel, Taylor Mollin and Rachel Bohn will represent Boylan in the 400 freestyle relay.

Congratulations to the Titan football team on their victory last Saturday over Guilford. Boylan will play Lake Zurich at Titan Stadium on Saturday, November 10 at 1:00 PM.

Advanced tickets will be available at the Boylan Main Office on Thursday and Friday, November 8 and 9,  from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM and in the cafeteria during lunches.

All tickets are general admission and cost $6.00 for everyone.

Gates will open at 12:00 noon on Saturday.

Congratulations to the Lady Titan swimmers who won the NIC 10 Conference Tourney held at Boylan on Saturday, November 3. This marks the second year in a row that the girls captured the NIC 10 trophy.

The team will participate in the IHSA sectional meet on Saturday, November 10 at Byron High School.
