Enrollment for the ACT test preparation class scheduled to begin February 16, 2008 is closed.

We are looking at the possibility of offering another session to help prepare students for the ACT test scheduled for June 14. The June test will also be held at Boylan.

As more definite information becomes available we will post it on the web site.

The Catholic Schools Week Mass has been moved from Thursday, January 31st to Friday, February 1st.

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) has announced that 50 Boylan Catholic students have been named Illinois State Scholars. The Illinois State Scholar program recognizes Illinois high school students for outstanding academic achievement. Rankings are based on a combination of ACT and/or SAT 1 test score results and class rank at the end of the sixth semester in high school. While the program does not provide a monetary award, the designation as an Illinois State Scholar can be listed on applications for college admission and scholarships.

Boylan is pleased to announce that we will once again be offering a ACT Test preparation class to be taught by Mr. Gerry Davies, the chair of the mathematics department, and Mrs. Carol Davies, Chair of the English department.

The course will be begin February 16, 2008 and end on April 5, 2008 the week before the ACT test that is scheduled for April 12 at Boylan.

Juniors and seniors will be receiving a letter with more information about registration, cost and the course calendar.

The sophomore and varsity boys’ basketball games postponed on Saturday, December 1st have been rescheduled to Saturday, December 22nd. The sophomore game begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by the varsity game at 7:30 p.m. The games will be played in the Boylan Main Gym.
