The following position is open for the 2010-2011 school year:

Art Position [ Full Time] (posted 03/16/2010)

We are seeking an experienced, energetic high school art teacher with a strong work ethic. We desire a flexible person who will be able to adhere to our current art curriculum as well as an innovative idea person who will assist us in the development of a graphics art program. Ideal candidate would have experience in graphic design, computer technology (Macintosh/PC), and software such as Photoshop. Candidate should have a personal and student artwork portfolio that demonstrates knowledge of a variety of art media and utilizes the elements and principles to create "polished/finished" art products.

Applicant must possess a:

  1. Bachelors or Masters degree

  2. Illinois Teacher Certification or
    eligibility for Illinois Teacher Certification
