PSAT Testing Information:
PSAT TEST DATE- Wed. Oct. 12th
The PSAT/NMSQT includes writing, math, and reading sections. Although the PSAT/NMSQT is NOT used by colleges for admissions selection, it affords juniors the chance to become acclimated with the format and content of college entrance exams, such as the SAT exam. A further advantage is that this same test is the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT), entering all juniors in that competition. Each junior has received a Student Bulletin containing excellent preparatory material plus a copy of a full-length PSAT test to use for practice. Please encourage your student to study this material. Students should come prepared with #2 pencils and a calculator (scientific/graphing recommended). Students should report to their assigned test room by 7:45 a.m. and will be dismissed approximately at 11:15 a.m.
