Alumni Recognition Awards
Nomination Criteria
Every year, we invite the Boylan community to nominate a graduate who reflects our school’s mission in her or his profession, volunteerism, community involvement, affiliations, and relationship with others. The awards are conferred on the recipients during a ceremony held on the Thursday night of our annual Homecoming week celebrations each fall.
Please consider nominating a graduate of Boylan (or non-graduate in the case of Honorary Alumnus or Outstanding Teacher) for this prestigious award using the nomination form below. Please note: the selection committee is seeking well-rounded and descriptive nominations. The more thorough a nomination, the better.
Every member of the Boylan community - alumni, current parents, past parents, benefactors, and friends - are invited to participate in the Alumni Recognition Awards. Please note: applications are considered valid for a period of five years after. If you have nominated someone in the past, you do not need to nominate them again (but are welcome too).
Veritas Award
The Veritas Award recognizes a graduate of Boylan or of our heritage schools, St. Thomas and Muldoon, who models the essence of Catholic secondary education: lives the truth (Veritas) as taught and lived by Jesus Christ.
This graduate may be one of great standing in his or her community or one who serves his fellows, family, or community through quiet dedication to Christian ideals. Through a life of service, this person uses his or her gifts to further Christ's teachings and is thereby an inspiration to peers as well as to Boylan's students. This graduate may come from any walk of life or any part of the country.
Alumni, current parents, past parents, friends, faculty, and students may make nominations every year. The nominee must be a graduate of Boylan, St. Thomas, or Muldoon. Posthumous nominations will be accepted. Click here to submit a nomination for the Veritas Award.

Honorary Alumnus Award
The Honorary Alumnus Award is awarded annually to one or more friends (non-alumni) of Boylan Catholic High School for his or her years of distinguished service to the school. This person models the essence of Catholic secondary education: lives the truth (Veritas) as taught and lived by Jesus Christ. Through a life of service to Boylan, this person uses his or her gifts to further Christ’s teachings and is thereby an inspiration to peers as well as to students.
