Physical Education

Physical Education Four years of physical education is required to graduate from Boylan. Freshman and sophomore classes focus on team sports, social skills, and overall fitness. Junior and senior year, physical education provides options for the students to choose activities aimed at creating a lifelong interest in health and fitness.


Boys Health or Girls Health or Coed Early-Bird Health (Grade 9)

Boys Physical Education 1 or Girls Physical Education 1 or Coed Early-Bird Physical Education (Grade 9)

Boys Physical Education 2 or Girls Physical Education 2 or Coed Early-Bird Physical Education or Physical Education Practicum (Grade 10)

Coed Physical Education 3 or Physical Education Practicum (Grade 11)

Coed Physical Education 4 or Physical Education Practicum (Grade 12)

Schedule Update


Due to the wintry conditions, Boylan Catholic High School will not have in-person learning on Tuesday, January 26.

All Boylan students will have remote learning plans delivered to them by Tuesday morning through their Canvas accounts. Students will be expected to check-in for Google Meets or other assignments that teachers have planned for Tuesday.

The schedule for the rest of the week will remain intact:

  • Wednesday, January 27: Remote learning, all students
  • Thursday, January 28: A-K group (in-person), L-Z group (remote)
  • Friday, January 29: L-Z group (in-person), A-K group (remote)

After school and evening activities at Boylan on Tuesday, January 26 are still TBD.
