A proud Boylan alumnus, Mr. Walls graduated from Augustana College with degrees in music education and mathematics.  In college, he had the opportunity to study abroad for a summer in Paris, studying French music history and American expatriate authors in France.  He also toured with the Augustana Choir around the midwest, California, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden.  After graduation, he taught choir and algebra at Saint Viator High School in Arlington Heights for two years. Mr. Walls currently lives in Rockford, IL with his wife Kate Genoways Walls and their son, Noah. He also serves as the Director of Music Ministries at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Loves Park, IL. Outside of music, he loves to travel, be outdoors, and spend time with friends and family.
