The Boylan Players present: William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream!
The Boylan Players are pleased to present A Midsummer Night's Dream for the 23-24 Fall Play. Opening night will be Friday, November 10, 2023 at 7:30pm with two performances to follow on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 7:30pm and Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 2:00pm. All performances will be held in the Boylan Auditorium located at 4000 St. Francis Dr., Rockford. Media and guests may enter through the Student Entrance (Door D).
A Midsummer Night's Dream features multiple overlapping stories, featuring young lovers trapped in an enchantment, fairies causing mischief all around the forest, and a hilarious megical transformation. This production is whimsical, magical and perfect for the whole family. Tickets for each production are only $10 and may be purchased at the door.
“The students have been rehearsing for Midsummer since for months and they are so excited to finally perform for their family, friends and peers. This play is one that we have done multiple times in Boylan Players history, and we are looking forward to reimagining it yet again for our 2023 production” says Hannah Sleger, Boylan Theater Director.
Sleger continued, “the cast and crew have truly worked so hard to make Midsummer a success and I’m so proud of their dedication and how far they have come. This is such a fun production so I hope everyone comes out to enjoy it and to support our theatre students.”
